专利说明:

The invention relates to a connecting device for at least two at an angle to be connected profile elements of wall elements, racks, load carriers and the like, which are provided for a trade fair stand, as a shop or other presentation devices, the connecting device having a first and a second leg , the two legs enclose the angle, and each leg can be attached to one of the two profile elements to be connected to one another.
Exhibition stands and shop fittings are often formed from easy-to-assemble and demountable elements that belong to a modular system. The individual elements are connected to one another, for example to create walls, frames, shelves or supports for lighting, posters and other loads. The individual elements are often designed as metal or light metal profiles that have grooves or other recesses for the use of suitable connecting devices. Several of these elements can usually be put together to form a frame, in which flat presentation or decorative material can be used if necessary. One or more such composite frames can then form a complete wall surface, for example of a trade fair stand.
For example, profile elements with one or more profile walls are known which have a hole pattern in at least one of their profile wall. A plug of a connecting device can be inserted into at least one of these recesses. The previously known connecting device has at least one second plug which is inserted into a recess of a second profile element which is provided for connection to the first profile element. The plugs are arranged on two legs, the two legs being firmly connected to one another at a predetermined angle.
A disadvantage of previously known solutions, however, is that they usually require screwing or even welding of the profile elements to form a frame. Even if the profile elements can be separated from one another again, this entails increased dismantling effort, which should be avoided in particular when setting up and dismantling exhibition stands.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a remedy here. In particular, in connection with the connecting devices mentioned at the outset, a simplification of the creation of a fixed connection of such profile elements and an inexpensive dismantling should be made possible.
This object is achieved in a connecting device of the type mentioned according to the invention in that the connecting device has no permanent connection to or with one of the profile elements to be connected and is designed as a separate component with respect to the profile elements to be connected, at least one of the two legs is provided with a spring-loaded latching element which has a stroke path essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal extension of its leg. With regard to the aspect of the non-detachable connection to be avoided, the invention can also be seen as an alternative formulation in that the connection device is provided exclusively with at least one detachable, in particular tool-free detachable connection with a profile element. The object is also achieved by a profile frame system according to at least one of claims 8 to 14.
With the solution according to the invention, it is possible, functionally reliable, quickly and without additional tools or other connecting elements to put together the frames or other racks frequently required in trade fair and shop fitting from profile elements and also to dismantle them again. The profiles and the connecting devices provided as corner connectors of the profile elements are provided and designed for simple and uncomplicated multiple use, even in different compositions. The at least one spring-loaded actuating or latching element serves to lock the connecting device on one of the profile elements. The respective profile element designed with a straight or curved longitudinal extension should preferably have at least one recess at its two ends into which the spring-loaded actuating or latching element is inserted and engages and thus locks the respective profile element with the connecting device. Thus, there is preferably a self-locking between the respective profile element and between at least one of the legs of the connecting device by the actuating or latching element of this leg.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one leg of the connecting device, which is provided with the at least one actuating or latching element, has a cross-sectional shape which allows this leg of the connecting device in the respective profile element, which is preferably designed as a hollow profile introduce one of its front ends. In order to be able to introduce the actuating or latching element here, it may preferably be necessary to actuate it in the direction of the leg and against the spring force along the stroke, whereby the leg can be inserted into the hollow profile with a further section of its length. When the leg reaches a certain insertion length in the hollow profile of the profile element, the at least one actuating or latching element of this leg then comes into a position directly opposite a recess in the hollow profile. A cross-sectional shape of the recess can preferably correspond to the cross-sectional shape of the latching element, wherein the latching element can preferably be designed to be slightly smaller so that the latching element can be inserted into the recess of the hollow profile. When inserted into the recess, the at least one locking element of this leg is at least largely relieved of the spring force, moved into the recess along the stroke of the actuating or locking element and locked therein, whereby the connecting device is locked with this profile element. Preferably, both legs of the connecting device are each provided with an actuating or latching element and in this way a profile element can be fixed in position but detachably attached to both legs. To release the respective profile element from the connecting device again, it is only necessary to press the actuating or latching element against the spring force and thus move it out of the recess into the interior of the profile element and then pull the leg out of the profile element. No tools are required for this dismantling, it can be done quickly and easily.
In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, a cross-sectional shape of the profile element and the leg to be inserted therein of the connecting device can be designed such that no relative rotational movement about the longitudinal axis of the leg between the profile element and the connecting element is possible after an introduction. The cross-sectional shape of the respective leg to be inserted and the cross-sectional shape of the profile element, at least in its insertion area, can thus preferably be coordinated in such a way that a form fit results in the radial direction of the profile element, i.e. in a direction around its longitudinal axis. This form fit is preferably already present before the locking element is located at an axial height in a position opposite the recess into which it subsequently engages.
For a simple but secure connection of frame elements to a frame or frame, a preferred embodiment of the connecting device according to the invention can also contribute, in which it is provided that at least one spring-loaded actuating or latching element is provided on each of the two legs of the connecting device. This allows the simple and quick assembly and disassembly to be increased even further. Finally, it can also be particularly advantageous if the two legs, including their respective latching elements, are constructed identically. As a result, both legs can optionally be introduced into the same profile elements, whereby the flexible use and combination options of connecting devices and profile elements of the profile frame system are particularly extensive.
A particularly favorable handling of the connecting device according to the invention can be achieved by a preferred embodiment in which the at least one actuating or latching element is force-loaded in the direction of its leg away with a spring force. In order to actuate the latching element of this embodiment, the spring element must be pressed in the direction against the action of the force towards its leg of the connecting device.
It can furthermore be preferred that the connecting device is designed as a corner connector or corner support, which has at least two legs arranged at the angle, each of the legs with at least one, preferably only one, spring-loaded or spring-loaded actuating element provided is. Each of the legs of the connecting device that are not parallel to one another is provided for insertion into hollow profiles of different profile elements, the actuating element being provided for releasable engagement in the respective profile element in an end position of the leg in the respective profile element.
[0013] Further preferred embodiments of the invention emerge from the claims, the description and the drawing.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to exemplary embodiments shown purely schematically in the figures, in which: FIG. 1 shows a perspective illustration of a frame composed only of profile elements and a preferred embodiment of the connecting devices according to the invention; Figure 2a is a front view of the frame of Figure 1; 2b shows a plan view of the frame from FIGS. 1 and 2a with perforated profile elements; 2c shows a side view of the frame from FIGS. 1 and 2a with perforated profile elements; FIG. 2d shows a detailed view of a partially cut corner area according to the illustration of FIG. 2c; 3 shows a first preferred embodiment of a connecting element according to the invention; 4 shows a second preferred embodiment of a connecting element according to the invention; 5 shows a third preferred embodiment of a connecting element according to the invention; 6 shows a representation of a cross-sectional shape of profile elements preferred in connection with the invention; 7 shows a representation of a cross-sectional shape of profile elements preferred in connection with the invention.
In Fig. 1, a frame 9 or panel is shown, which is composed of four profile elements 10 and four connecting devices 5. In the exemplary embodiment, there are four identical profile elements 10 designed as hollow profiles, as well as four identical connecting devices 5. Such profile elements 10 and the frames 9 and racks formed therefrom are typically used and used in shop and trade fair construction. In particular, such square or rectangular frames 9 can be provided, inter alia, for covering with advertising materials. They can also be provided to accommodate lighting means with which, for example, advertising materials or products are illuminated or backlit.
The rectangular frame-like panel 9 shown in FIGS. 1-2d can thus be provided for receiving a wall surface, advertising material and the like. The profile elements 10 have on their outer side - with respect to the frame or panel formed by them - up to the region of their ends in each case a plurality of circular recesses 12 arranged one behind the other. The distance between the recesses 12 lying next to one another can in principle be freely selected; it is preferably constant from one recess 12 to the respective subsequent recess 12. This constant distance from successive outer recesses 12 can preferably be provided for all frame elements of a panel or another geometric structure formed with such frame elements. Such recesses 13 are also located on the inner sides of the frame 9. The inner sides are formed by side walls of the hollow profiles 10, which are at least essentially square in cross-section, opposite the outer sides on the profiles. Recesses 13 that follow one another can each be provided with the same spacing; this spacing can also be provided for all frame profiles of a frame profile system.
The profile elements 10 are designed as hollow profiles with a square or rectangular cross-section, the four side walls of which form an essentially likewise square or rectangular cavity. The profile elements 10 can for example be aluminum extruded profiles. The hollow profiles each have a row of recesses or perforations 12, 13 running parallel to their longitudinal axes on opposite sides. Such profiles are also referred to as perforated box profiles. The distance between the recesses or perforations 12, 13 and the respective axial positions of these recesses or perforations 12, 13 on the opposite sides of the profile element can be identical, so that two opposite recesses or perforations 12, 13 with each other are aligned and have identical cross-sectional areas.
The connecting element from FIG. 3 has two profiled legs 2 which each run essentially along a straight longitudinal axis. In the exemplary embodiment, the two legs 2 are designed at least approximately as rectangular profiles. The legs 2 can also be designed as extruded aluminum profiles. The two legs 2 are - based on their longitudinal axes - aligned at an angle of 90 °. On opposite inner sides of the 90 ° angle of the two legs, a latching device 6 is arranged on the legs at the same distance from the intersection of the longitudinal axes of the two legs. The two latching devices 6 are each provided with an actuating element 1. The respective actuating element 1 can be arranged on a resiliently hinged tab of the leg 1. The tab can extend essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis or longitudinal extension of the associated leg 2. In another embodiment, likewise using spring force, the actuating element 1 can be arranged in a recess on the inside of the leg 2 and, in the non-actuated state, protrude beyond the surface of the inside of the respective leg. In this embodiment, a spring-elastic element is arranged in the leg 2 and behind the actuating element, for example a helical spring which presses against the actuating element. The actuating element 1 is hereby pressed into its latching position against a stop. In both embodiments, by pressing on the actuating element, it can be moved along a stroke path in the direction of the inside of the leg against the spring force. The stroke can be limited by a further stop for the actuating element. In this second end position of the actuating element, the top of the actuating element 1 is at least flush with the inside of the respective leg 2, but preferably slightly behind the inside. As soon as the actuating element 1 is released again, it automatically returns to its first end position, in which it protrudes beyond the surface of the inside of the respective leg 2. In the embodiment with a pivotably deflectable tab, the stroke of the actuating element is not exactly straight but slightly curved and the first end position can result from a non-deflection, i.e. a position of the actuating element 1 free of spring force.
The two legs 2 are each arranged with one of their ends in or on a corner support 3, which holds the two legs 2 in this position and the connecting device 5 gives strength. The corner support 3 is also provided with butting outer sides which protrude beyond the respective legs 2. On each of the outer sides, the corner support 3 is provided with a screen 7, 8, which can preferably have the same surface as the profile elements 10 provided for use with the connecting device. This allows the optical impression of the profile elements on the outer sides of a frame 9 or frame 10 to be continued into the corners of the frame 9 or frame and a more harmonious optical image can be generated. In addition, this can reduce the risk of injuries to possible sharp edges of the corner support 3.
The corner support 3 can also preferably be provided on at least one of the two sides with a screen element 14, 15, which also continues the top of the profile elements 10 on the respective side of the corner connector or the connecting device 5. Depending on the configuration of the corner connector 3 and the intended use of the connecting device 5, a screen can be provided on only one side or screens 14, 15 aligned essentially parallel to one another can be provided on both opposite sides. A visually harmonious integration of the connecting device 5 into the respectively formed frame 9 or into the frame and the impression of a firmly screwed or even welded frame or frame can also be achieved with the side screens 14, 15.
In order to form a frame as shown in FIG. 1, each of the two legs 2 must be inserted into one end of a profile element 10. So that the actuating element 1 can also be introduced into the cavity of the respective profile, it should be actuated and pressed slightly towards the inside of the leg or pressed towards its second end position. As a result, the leg 2 can be introduced essentially completely into the profile element 10. The respective actuating element 1 thereby moves into a position directly opposite the first recess 13 on the inside of the frame 9 - seen from the end face of the respective end of the profile element 10 - and automatically or automatically snaps into this recess 13 due to the spring force. Due to this longitudinal locking and the security against rotation due to the form-fitting profiling of the leg 2 and the hollow profile 10, the leg 2 is locked in a fixed position but releasably on the profile element 10. After one end of one of the four profile elements 10 is pushed onto all legs 2 of the four connecting devices 5 in the same way and locked in a fixed position but releasably, in particular releasably without tools, the frame 9 shown in FIG. 1 is thus formed without tools and in a self-locking manner. All of the perforations 12 now provided on the outside of the frame can be used for the functions actually intended with this frame, since these are not required for the frame or frame formation itself. Likewise, the perforations 13 present on the inside of the frame, which are not occupied by an actuating element 1, can also be used for other purposes, for example for the arrangement of lighting means. Due to a preferred mirror-symmetrical design - based on an imaginary plane of symmetry - of profile elements 10, the latter can also be used in different rotational positions in order to form 3 frames or other frame shapes with you and with corner connectors. Depending on the arrangement and alignment, recesses 13 can then also be arranged outside and recesses 12 can also be arranged inside a frame. The respective actuating element can thus also be arranged in a recess 12 instead of in a recess 13.
In Fig. 4, a further preferred embodiment of a connecting device according to the invention is shown. This is basically constructed in the same way as the connecting device shown in FIG. 3 and discussed above. In order to avoid repetition, only differences to the connection device from FIG. 3 will therefore be discussed below, and otherwise the statements relating to the embodiment from FIG. 3 will also be incorporated by reference for the embodiment from FIG. The same applies to the third preferred embodiment according to FIG. 5, which is also discussed below.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the corner support 3 can preferably be provided with stiffening elements 17. In addition, it is preferably provided with a screen element 14 only on one side, but also has the two screens 7, 8 located on the outside of the frame, which are each aligned essentially parallel, but at a distance from one of the two legs 2. In addition, this connecting device differs in the profiling of the legs 2 from the connecting device from FIG. 3. The connecting device 5 from FIG. 4 is provided for a so-called light box profile (FIG. 6) of the profile elements. The light box profile is characterized by at least one groove 18 which is formed in the region of a side edge of a top side of the hollow profile element 10 and which runs along the longitudinal extent of the profile element 10. The light box profile can also preferably be provided with such a groove 18, 19 on both sides of this upper side, both of which preferably extend along the entire length of the corresponding profile element 10. These at least one, preferably both, grooves 18, 19, are continued in the connecting device 5, so that the grooves 18, 19 run essentially over the entire length of the side edges of the frame 9. The light box profile is particularly suitable for the formation of a frame using four such profile elements, with the side edges of the printed textile being pressed into the grooves 18 or 19 of the profile elements 10 and then with a keder element, in particular a silicone keder, arranged in the grooves on the frame 9 or on Light box profile are attached. The light box profile is also provided with a cover 20, which also extends at least substantially over the entire length of the profile element, is attached below the groove 18 and extends inwards in the frame, far beyond the inside 21 of the profile element and thus essentially conceals the hollow section of the profile element. Illuminants, which are not shown in greater detail in the illustrations, are also covered with the cover 20 and can be arranged behind the cover 20 in the perforations 13 of the inside 21 of the frame 9.
Finally, FIG. 5 shows a connecting device which has a third leg 24 in the corner region. This connecting device 5 is provided to form not only a two-dimensional frame but a three-dimensional cuboid or cube-shaped frame structure. For this purpose, the third leg 24 is also inserted into a further profile element 10. The third leg 24 is arranged in the corner area in which the two other legs 2 meet. In addition, it is oriented perpendicular to the plane which the two other legs 2 span. The three legs 2, 24 are accordingly arranged according to a Cartesian X-Y-Z coordinate system. All three legs 2, 24 are arranged on a corner support 3. A screen 14 can again be provided on an outer side, which is also an outer side in the case of a cuboid frame structure formed using the connecting device. Each of the actuating elements 1 is in turn located on one of the two legs 2, but not on the sides of the legs 2 which are opposite due to the angled arrangement. In this exemplary embodiment, the actuating elements are located on the sides of the legs 2, which represent inner sides 21a of side surfaces of the cuboid frame structure. All six side surfaces of the cuboid or cube-shaped frame structure can be provided with advertising material, for example printed textiles or paper, and attached to the profile elements. On the inside of the profile elements, which in turn are each provided with several perforations over their longitudinal extent. Lighting means can be provided with which the cuboid or cube-shaped frame structure can be illuminated from the inside, which in turn leads to backlighting of the advertising material.
In this embodiment, as well as the two previously discussed embodiments of the invention, the use of different cross-sectional shapes of the profile elements 10 is basically possible, the cross-sectional shapes of the legs 2, 24 should then be adapted accordingly. In particular, cross-sectional shapes according to the light box profile and the combination profile are possible.
